Well, we're all in hell about this stupid chat being broke, but as I said before, it might be a step into a better nonoba.
Think about it. Once the site went down, when it came back it had better colors, and Laundry room was Attic. So what if Chris decided to trick out Nonoba?
I'm seriously not worried, myself. This'll end soon, it always does, and when it's over nonoba just might be cooler. A site doesen't just go down, if it did we woulden't be able to even log on! I know we're all upset, but we got to just calm it and accept the fact that nonoba might not be working for a while. So that's my opinion. It's like a blackout after a hurricane-it'll end, soon, for sure. Till then we might have to stop beating ourselves over the fact that our favorite RP-gaming-chat site is down for a while. So, we should just grin and bear it, and if any admins or mods read this, I seriously hope this is the case, cuz it sure seems that way. And I know, personally, that Nonoba is a relatively "young" site. It'll have some long-term server crashes once in a while, until it's a bit old, right? A lot of sites go down for long periods, and I'm sure that all admins, moderators, and creators are working their hardest to get the site back up and running. So we should stop complaining, and when this is all over, you can bet that I'm gonna be the one thanking them.
I think if Chris was updating Nonoba, he would have enough sense to make some kind of notification about it for us all to see. A lot of regular members have left and given up on the site because of it being down so for so long. There's no way it's being updated. It has just been left to die at the hands of a noob doing a DDoS attack.
I'm sure some of the more active admins and mods have spread the word to the Nonoba higher-ups. So I wouldn't worry that Chris has no idea.
Maybe you should worry whether or not he cares. That would probably be more justified. From what I've heard, keeping Nonoba up was only eating into revenue from that EE game.
Notice that the site IS still up, even if the chats aren't.
But, with Christmas coming, and all of these kiddies being at home, inside because it's snowy and there is no school... Even if the chats do come back up- I could see the large influx of traffic having a negative effect.
Of course, nobody ever tells me anything and I don't REALLY know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm relatively new to Nonoba- so take everything I say with a grain of salt please, and don't ever quote me or refer to what I say as fact.
yeah x)? everytime I have been in the chat Haze. allways comes in and blocks it so no1 can get in :s
but okay, maybe there is more things than just Haze. xDDD
