STOP Online Piracy Act... such a great name for something needed for many creative people.

Too bad I worry that it goes too far as those sensitive enough to not abuse SOPA are not the ones we need to worry about.

If the masses are willing to subject themselves to the Patriot Act so openly, SOPA shouldn't be anything new as it is of the same old soap on a rope type that act was.

It should be noted that technically will only count for US citizens only, That said, as a Canadian user not actually directly effected by it, I am against it.

those government jackboots didnt even need SOPA to take down megaupload, which was based in hong kong with employees located across the world. RIP MEGAUPLOAD U WILL B MISSED

there are various games on this site that would end up making it censored by SOPA so it really is an issue that should be present in the nonoba section of the forum. j/s ╮(╯3╰)╭

actually sites in the US will be taken down; only foreign sites are "censored" by american ISPs without being taken down completely

Megaupload's hotter sister, mediafire, is still on the web, so it being taken down doesn't really matter.
